Berkshire Orthopedics LLC opened in 1985. All of our doctors are Board Certified in the specialized field of Orthopedic Surgery and are fellows of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. We provide state-of-the-art orthopedic care to our patients using the latest appropriate medical technology. We specialize in minimally invasive surgery.
Berkshire Orthopedics LLC is a recognized leader in education and research. We established the non-profit Eastern Sports Medicine Orthopedic Institute, performing orthopedic research which is presented at national seminars and published in medical journals and textbooks. We have experience as team physicians or the Reading Phillies, Reading Royals, Express Indoor Football, Reading Rage Professional Soccer, Reading United Professional Soccer, Kutztown University, Albright College, Ursinus College and many local high schools. We work with local athletic leagues to foster a collegial spirit and emphasize teamwork. We have been involved in local community sporting events, such as sponsorship of the Easter Seals 10K Run and Alligator 10K Trail Run.

To provide maximum convenience for all our patients, diagnostic X-ray and physical therapy centers are located on the premises, and an MRI/CT scan center is located nearby. If you would prefer using another testing or treatment facility, we have close relationships with other local centers. Our doctors are on the staff at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and The Surgical Institute of Reading. Berkshire Orthopedics LLC participates in most major insurance plans including local HMO, PPO, and Medicare.
